Course Overview:
HSE training in the oil and gas sector is a legal, operational, and risk-control requirement, not a compliance formality. In Nigeria, safety performance is directly tied to regulatory approval, contract eligibility, asset integrity, and workforce protection. Training must therefore align with the expectations of Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC), client/operator HSE management systems, and international best practices (ISO 45001, API, IOGP).

Effective HSE training must move beyond theory to hazard recognition, risk control, behavioral safety, emergency preparedness, and incident prevention, supported by practical exercises and verifiable competence.
